Spicy Poached Egg on Toast

SERVES 1.


What:
1 egg
2 chestnut mushrooms
1 garlic clove
1 slice of bread
bit of butter
pepper
fist full of spinach
chilli flakes

With:
1 frying pan
1 pan
Toaster

How:
Pan fry the mushrooms in a bit o’ butter on a medium heat.
Add garlic and pepper, leave on low heat.

Add eggs to boiling water, they’ll be poached when the bread is toasted (takes around 3 mins for runny eggs).

Serve with spinach leaves, and sprinkle with chilli flakes (I recommend The Chilli Jam Man’s Bhutt Grinder).
